What importers ask us

Is my data safe?

Yes. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to your account, and we never sell or share your data. Our security page has the details.

Can I really file this myself?

Yes. CBP lets the importer of record file CAPE refund claims in its own ACE account. You need an ACE portal account and ACH refund enrollment, and the guide walks you through both.

Why not just use my broker?

Many brokers are buried in refund work or charge per entry. You keep control of the timing, and you never give up a percentage of your refund.

What does an entry need to qualify?

IEEPA duties paid, and the entry either unliquidated or liquidated within the last 80 days for CAPE. Entries 80 to 180 days past liquidation go through a protest.

Is this legal advice?

No. TariffRefund is filing software and guidance. For entries past the protest window, talk to a trade attorney.
